MUSIC BUSINESS

Complete Bundle

Got your own catalog of music, and don't know how to make it work for you? I can help...

Your Instructor for the Online Music Business Course (Scott Barkham) will guide you through the ins and outs of the music business in 2019 to help you find the path that works best for you so you can release your music into the world with maximum impact.

Scott has nearly three decades of experience and success across multiple facets of the music industry–as a record company executive, professional musician, music television talent executive and as an artist manager.

He has seen the business change drastically, and has been able to pivot in order to maintain a career that has been consistently successful.

Starting with several years working closely with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artists Steely Dan, Scott learned early in his career how to relate to and work with talent.

This skill has served him well over the years, as a talent executive for Fuse, A&R for Jake Records (Interscope), and for the past ten years as an artist manager where he has been able to guide the careers of the multi-Grammy nominated Australian band Hiatus Kaiyote (Sony Music), Rich Medina, and many others.

Scott is the complete manager–not limited to any one type of artist, or one metric of success.

The world famous artists, producers and DJ’s who work with him are successful in their own terms.

Some of them make records and tour the world, some DJ around the world, and others stay home and produce records that are respected worldwide.

Scott is here to help YOU find YOUR the best path that makes sense for you and can help you make real PROGRESS with your art and your aspiring career.

This course isn’t limited to recording artists — Scott can help you if you’re breaking into the business as a manager or a producer.
