TV and Film Composer Justin Crosby has had music featured in some of America and Europe’s hottest shows. His professional journey into music began in 1993, joining Caroline Records recording artists Drop Nineteens as their lead guitarist.
The Nineteens were one of a few US-based bands who styled themselves on England’s distinctive shoegazer sound. The band would ultimately lead the UK Indie Album and Singles charts with formal releases after signing to Caroline Records, (label home to Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, White Zombie, and countless other trendsetting artists of their day.) They lead several European and domestic tours with 43 performances, both domestic and abroad. They were featured as Blur’s supporting act on a 2 week US tour and shared the stage with Radiohead, Flaming Lips and Mazzy Star at England’s Reading Festival, and headlining the second stage of Lollapalooza in Waterloo NJ.
After recording and touring with Drop Nineteens, Crosby moved into music for television, independent film, apps, and games. His music has been featured in prime time networks ranging from ABC, NBC, and CBS, to A&E, VH1, BBC, and Showtime. His drum programming can be heard on game scores for Konami, as well as mobile apps and games.
Some of Justin’s credits include “Blackish” (ABC), ”Dexter” (Showtime), “Castle” (ABC), “Do No Harm” (NBC), “Deception” (NBC), NFL and NBA (CBS, ABC, NBC and ESPN), ”Silent Hill 8: Downpour” (Konami), and “Top Gear” (BBC), and cult horror hit feature film “The Crazies.”

Last two weeks of each Mixing/Mastering course is dedicated to mixing/mastering practice and shootouts: each student receives same stems and mix the track during two weeks, providing 1.0 mix version on first week class where we listen all the tracks and give feedback. On the second week students are submitting 2.0 mix that we listen during the class and give the feedback.
